Children’s Events at the Scottish Storytelling Centre

Stories, songs and rhymes are great fun for children - and grown-ups too. The benefits of these interactions have a positive and significant effect on a child’s emotional, social, speech and language development, which aids their overall wellbeing.

There’s a whole lot going on at the Scottish Storytelling Centre over the next few months – plenty for all the family and your minded children:

Saturday 24 January
It’s in the Bag
It's in the Bag is an award-winning company who delight in taking children's imaginations on a storytelling adventure.  Rhymes, drama, creative games and puppets bring the story to life, with lots of well-loved Scottish songs throughout!

Adventure-storyteller Brooke Laing performs and delights in an interactive action-packed adventure through an enchanted forest where a miserable witch has been up to mischief.  Can we save Bottom and his fairy-tale friends from the witch’s spells before Big Ben chimes midnight, or will we be trapped in the enchanted forest forever?
