This year’s Maternal and Early Years conference will take place on Thursday 21 May at Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh. The conference provides the chance for the Maternal and Early Years Network to share practice that focuses on improving health and wellbeing for all children and reducing inequalities experienced by the most vulnerable children and families.
It is a unique opportunity for the early years workforce (in its broadest sense), to learn and exchange knowledge on the latest national policy, research, evidence and practice. The conference is open to anyone working in early years across all sectors and settings in Scotland.
2015 Conference Theme:
The theme of the 2015 Conference is ‘The Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014’ (C&YP Act) with a sub theme of working in collaboration to accelerate existing work and progress action in delivery. The programme will have a strong emphasis on third sector partnerships.
The programme includes plenary presentations from NHS Health Scotland, Scottish Government, Education Scotland and Third Sector colleagues, with a focus on how partnerships are enabling responsive action to delivery.
