As a self-employed childminder, it’s important you set out your pay and conditions carefully before agreeing to a contract with a parent.

Knowing how much to charge can be tricky decision, but our Pay & Conditions guide gives you details of the average rates of pay for childminders across different areas of Scotland, which you can use as a benchmark.
