An analysis of responses to the Early Learning & Childcare Programme of Trials - Analysis of Responses to Scottish Government Discussion Paper has now been published.
SCMA responded to the discussion Paper, designed to support the expansion of early learning and childcare to 1140 hours per year by the end of the current Parliament. The Paper sought the views of stakeholders and partners on the scope and design of the trials, and invited suggestions for themes and areas to cover.
A summary of views on each discussion question is contained in the analysis, with implications for the trials highlighted in each section. The Scottish Government will now use this feedback to finalise the role of a delivery partner to coordinate and manage the implementation of these trials, which will begin in January 2017. http://www.gov.scot/Publications/2016/06/1559/0
