SCMA is an Open University Champion, thanks to the wide range of learning opportunities and resources we offer our childminder members.  Alongside our existing Learn with SCMA workshops and e-Learning, childminders can now also explore a variety of free learning materials and online courses from the Open University (OU). BABY & CHILD FIRST AID and PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID COURSES

SCMA has partnered with SAFA to offer two courses for SCMA members to access: Baby and Child First Aid and Paediatric First Aid Training. Find out more HERE. Founded in 1882, SAFA is one of the UK's leading organisations for promoting First Aid standards. It is a professional, established, and an accredited First Aid Training Centre. The organisation is one of the main contributors to the First Aid Manual that covers everything from First Aid essentials to life-saving procedures.
