At lunchtime today (21 January 2021), the Deputy First Minister announced the Scottish Government will be making an additional £1million of financial support available for childminders in Scotland most affected by COVID-19 to support the sustainability of their childminding businesses.
In addition, a Childminding Action Plan was highlighted in his announcement, and this is expected to be published later on today, which provides an outline of recovery for the childminding workforce, as well as this additional financial support.
