Drive happy with kids in the car

A driver under the age of 20 is killed or seriously injured on Scotland’s roads every week. Every time you drive with children, you’re giving them a lesson which could save their lives when they become drivers.

We all think we’re good drivers but are we always as good as we think we are? It’s even more important to drive carefully with children in the car – not just to keep them safe now, but so they’re learning good driving habits for the future from one of their most important role models – you.

Kids in the Car is a ground-breaking campaign encouraging parents and carers to be aware of the impact their driving behaviour has on even the youngest of children.

Have you seen or heard the adverts for Kids in the Car?

There’s lots of ways to get involved, help spread the campaign message and give your minded children a chance to shine – with competitions, a kid’s gallery, roadshow and more. Go to dontriskit.info/kids-in-the-car.
