Momentum is building towards new National Care Standards

It has been a busy couple of months since the overarching principles for the new National Care Standards came into effect in April. The five principles of: Dignity and respect; Compassion; Be included; Responsive care and support; and Wellbeing will help to shape the development of the new National Care Standards and will apply to all health and social care services in Scotland. The principles will help services, commissioners and scrutiny bodies in planning and designing services.
