The Care Inspectorate has issued an update on the progress of the National Care Standards review.
This update details the progress made following the consultation held from 26 October to 10 December 2015. The consultation, which asked for comments on seven draft overarching principles, attracted over 1700 responses.
All comments submitted during the consultation were considered by the Review Team; on which Scottish Childminding Association is the representative for the Early Years sector.
The Review Team has since submitted a revised set of principles to the Project Board. The new standards are scheduled for publication in April 2017.
