Share your dreams with ‘Future Me’ from Read, Write, Count
‘Future Me’ is a project launched by Read, Write, Count to engage parents, childminders and others to encourage children to share their dreams for the future.

The four week campaign nurtures the hopes, dreams and ambitions of all children in Scotland by encouraging parents, childminders and carers to ask children:

"What are your dreams for the future?”

Future Me aims to celebrate our children’s dreams and gives us a snapshot of what Scotland might look like in years to come…

Childminders can play a huge role is supporting Future Me. As you work so closely with children and families, you can help spread the word. Closing the attainment gap is a high priority for the Scottish Government and it’s something that we all want to achieve – your influence and encouragement could help make a difference.

With ‘Future Me’ childminders can spark up a conversation with their minded children (particularly P1-3) about their hopes and aspirations, and share those dreams, either as a picture, letter or video on the ‘Future Me’ wall at futureme.scot

Read, Write, Count has produced some activity ideas and resources to help you get started and introduce Future Me into your childminding setting.
