SCMA is the only organisation in Scotland dedicated to all aspects of childminding. With almost 3,500 childminder members, we look to our Elected Members to provide a ‘voice for childminding’ and represent the values, views and priorities of childminders across Scotland.
We launched our
new three-year strategy last month, and our board of Elected Members will play a key role in driving this strategy forward. Together we aim to strengthen childminding, support families and increasing choice – whilst changing public perceptions of childminding and fundamentally re-defining how it is viewed.
Bringing their local knowledge and true childminding experiences to the table, our Elected Members steer the direction of SCMA – we want to hear your voice, listen to your ideas and hear your passion for professional childminding in Scotland.
