This course aims to support your understanding and knowledge of ‘Realising the Ambition: Being Me’ and how childminders can implement the guidance.

Helping you to understand and use the resource, it walks you through applying theory, policy, and national guidance – all within a practical childminding context – as well as how to develop and improve your service through self-reflection.

The objectives of the course are:

  • To understand and use Realising the Ambition.
  • To apply theory, policy, national guidance within a practical childminding context.
  • To develop and improve your service through self-reflection and practice change.

On Demand

Our Learn with SCMA team can arrange any SCMA course to come to you - wherever you are in Scotland.  

Provided you know at least eight SCMA members interested in a particular course, we can provide the training.  We can arrange for any of our Continuing Professional Learning courses to be organised for groups of 8-20 SCMA members at a date, time and place to suit you and your group.
