SCMA’s Care Plan Organiser has been redeveloped in line with guidance from the Care Inspectorate.
The Care Plan Organiser, one of SCMA’s best-selling publications, has been reordered to make it easier to use and better meet the needs of our members.
It now contains two new forms: an ‘Ages and Stages of Development Checklist’ and ‘Personal Development Plan’. The inclusion of these two new forms as part of the Care Plan will better help childminders record outcomes for their minded children and therefore, meet the requirements of the Scottish Government’s Getting it Right for Every Child programme.
SCMA members are also able to purchase individual Care Plan Packs which include the following forms; Record of Information; All About Me; Accident/Incident Report; Permission for Extended Outings; Medication Permissions and Record of Medication Given; Child Protection Documentation; Ages and Stages Checklist; and Personal Development Plan.
Due to the redevelopment the only inserts available to buy as refills are now: Permission to Give Medication; Record of Medication Given; Fire Escape Plan, Fire Safety Record; Accident/Incident Report; Risk Assessment; and Risk Assessment for Outdoor Activities. The remaining forms can be purchased as part of a ‘Care Plan Pack’ priced at £5.00.
The full Care Plan Organiser will remain priced at £35.00.
