This course looks at the current guidance on child-led participation and children’s rights in relation to participation.

The objectives are:

To look at current guidance on child-led participation and children’s rights in relation to participation.
To highlight the important role of childminders in supporting children to express their views, make decisions and participate and the benefits of this.
To help childminders to establish meaningful ways of involving children in their service.
To identify ways to capture and prove that participation takes place and is valued within your service, in line with Care Inspectorate Standards.
