Each year SCMA makes a Christmas donation to charity and this year the SCMA Scottish Executive Board has chosen two charities to receive our festive gift – the RAF Benevolent Fund and the East Lothian Sunday Fresh Chicken Dinner Boxes.
SCMA Convener Liz Stewart nominated the RAF Benevolent Fund, in memory of her late husband Alex Stewart who passed away earlier in 2020.

The East Lothian Sunday Fresh Chicken Dinner Boxes is a community initiative, nominated by SCMA Board Member Joanna Addie, that delivers free fresh chicken dinner boxes to people who are struggling in East Lothian area.
Childminder Joanna looked after two children, whose mum Jane, established the project to support families with fresh produce from local suppliers. It was intended that the initiative would only run up until Christmas 2019, but demand has been so high, that it has continued to grow and grow.
