Childminding Poster for Services Open to Key Workers

Childminding Poster for Services Open to Key Workers
SCMA is aware that many registered childminders across Scotland have chosen to remain open during the coronavirus crisis to provide vital childcare support to key worker families and vulnerable children, to ensure their essential work on the frontline can continue.

To highlight and support your work in providing vital childcare services, SCMA has developed a poster for you to print off at home and display in your windows.

We understand that there may be some confusion as to why your childminding setting remains open and that people may not be aware of the current Scottish Government advice regarding childminding settings during this time.  It is hoped that this poster will help to highlight your crucial role as part of the coronavirus response and reinforce that you are continuing to follow the appropriate guidance.

Please note: It not a requirement to display this poster, but it has been produced for those who wish to, and who may find it helpful.

The poster is only available to registered childminders who are SCMA members and supporting key worker families and vulnerable children in their community.
It must only be used when and where appropriate and must not be shared or given to anyone else.

To request a copy of this poster, and if your service is supporting key workers and vulnerable children, please email information@childminding.org and we will send you a copy of the poster that you can print off.

For queries and concerns regarding the impact of coronavirus on your childminding business, please take a look at our dedicated web page at childminding.org/faqs and also our news page at childminding.org/news as these are kept up to date with the latest information.
