ELC Statutory Guidance: Consultation now open
The latest edition of the Early Learning and Childcare Statutory Guidance has now been published and responses are invited by
Wednesday 4 March 2020
.
The consultation sets out updated Statutory Guidance for supporting local authorities to deliver funded Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) from 1 August 2020 and the Scottish Government is keen to ensure that all ELC providers - including childminders - have the opportunity to provide their views before the guidance is finalised.
SCMA will be submitting a formal response and we would also encourage childminders to return individual responses. We are currently developing a summary document to assist you with this and will let you know as soon as this is available.
