The Scottish Community Safety Network has launched a new set of resources that may be of interest to people working with children and families.
As a childminder, their ‘Home Safety Map’ may be of particular interest to you - an interactive map of the home, that sets out and charts potential household hazards and how to reduce accidents.
The Map, which was commissioned and funded by SCSN in collaboration with RoSPA and illustrated by Laura Darling, illustrates their research into common and avoidable hazards in our homes, and also how best to act and avoid them.
The Home Safety Map is available from the Scottish Community Safety Network’s website at
safercommunitiesscotland.org/home-safety-map.
SCMA members can also access the map via the Membership Dashboard, as we have added it to our ‘
Resources, Guidance and Support’ section. Login to the Membership Dashboard
