Infant Mental Health Webinar: Save the Date
We are delighted to be hosting an upcoming free live webinar event exploring infant mental health for SCMA members in November, and we’re asking you to Save the Date

Designed to further support your Continuing Professional Learning (CPL), the ‘Introduction to Infant Mental Health: Early Experiences Last a Lifetime' webinar is an exclusive membership benefit.

The live online event will take place over two sessions:
  • Part One | Wednesday 8 November | 6:45pm - 7:45pm
  • Part Two | Wednesday 15 November | 6:45pm - 7:45pm
What is the webinar about?
The webinar aims to increase your understanding of the importance of key relationships for an infant, and how those relationships can impact their future development. The sessions will cover:

  • What is infant mental health?
  • Why is infant mental health important?
  • How can I nurture positive infant mental health?
  • What can impact negatively on infant mental health?
  • How can I identify infant mental health difficulties?
  • What support is available for childminders?
We will also look at brain development and attachment, which will highlight the importance of these in relation to the first few years of a child’s life. We hope this webinar will increase your understanding of what infants are communicating through their behaviour, how best to meet their needs and boost your confident in working with young children.

Who is hosting the webinar?
