Integrated Children’s Services Partnership shortlisted for prestigious Quality Improvement Awards
Congratulations to the Aberdeen City Integrated Children’s Services Partnership project which has been shortlisted for two prestigious 2018 Quality Improvement Awards.

The project team, co-ordinated by Integrated Children's and Family Services at Aberdeen City Council consists of: Home-Start Aberdeen, The Family Learning Team, Peep and SCMA and the project has been shortlisted in two categories: Excellence for Quality Improvement in Early Years and Top Team.

Commenting on the shortlisting, Maggie Simpson, Chief Executive of SCMA said: “Well done to Aberdeen’s Integrated Children’s Services Partnership on being shortlisted for such a prestigious award.  The partnership group is well established and work to ensure that in times of need each key area of children and young people’s wellbeing is addressed through a multi-agency approach.  SCMA is proud to be a key part of this team which delivers early interventions for these families through a comprehensive and co-ordinated suite of services developed around wellbeing needs.”

The Quality Improvement Awards have been established to celebrate and showcase the fantastic range of quality improvement practice that has been taking place across the length and breadth of Scotland to make services the best they possibly can be for babies, children, young people and their families in all aspects of their lives.

Quality Improvement is helping to strengthen services and to give children the best start in life, with equal opportunities to thrive, learn and succeed.  All of the improvement work aims to make services the best they possibly can be so as to reduce inequalities and get it right for every child.

The Awards Ceremony will take place on 13 November at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Glasgow.
