SCMA is aware of the emergency statement made by the First Minister earlier this afternoon regarding a tightening of restrictions - including a delay to schools returning until 1 February, but their remaining open during this period for children of key workers and vulnerable children (with this applying to nurseries, primary and secondary schools).
We are in ongoing contact with the Scottish Government regarding the implications of the restrictions on childminding, are expecting further information later today and will also be participating in a meeting of the national Recovery Working Group during the next couple of days to discuss the detail.
