Earlier this month, we introduced a third course in our #ThinkSTEM series: Exploring Maths and Numeracy through Science, and we’re pleased to offer SCMA members an opportunity to access this new e-Learning course for free.
During these challenging times, we know that many childminders are keen to engage and build on their Continuing Professional Learning (CPL) with learning opportunities such as these, but cost can sometimes be a hurdle.
Thanks to funding from Education Scotland, we are now able to offer a limited amount of funded e-Learning courses, where SCMA members can access our #ThinkSTEM: Exploring Maths and Numeracy through Science course free of charge.
Developed in partnership with SSERC, this new course is a natural progression from the first two #ThinkSTEM courses, to help you to promote the use of maths, numeracy, sequencing and problem-solving skills in your childminding setting and enables you to consider ways to further develop your practice.
