SCMA is holding an Extraordinary General Meeting via Microsoft Teams to discuss a proposed resolution on Saturday 19 June 2021 at 12pm.
Members of the existing Scottish Executive Board reviewed the Memorandum and Articles of SCMA at their March 2021 meeting, and are now proposing the following changes:
- To allow SCMA General Meetings to be held online; ensuring our governance responsibilities can be met at all times, particularly in view of the current pandemic restrictions.
- To remove the reference to members signing a written consent when they join. All members join by telephone/online, and we are proposing to remove the reference to them physically signing a written consent when they join to modernise how a member consents to being part of SCMA.
