SCMA is pleased to invite applications for the post of 'Professional Learning Manager'.
We are a membership organisation with 83% of Scotland’s childminders being members of SCMA. We are proud of the role we play in promoting childminding as a quality early learning and childcare service and helping our members be the best childminders they can be.
As Professional Learning Manager you will:
- Lead the delivery of Learn with SCMA services, shaping professional learning opportunities and ensuring that our childminding members continue to offer high quality family childcare.
- Be responsible for the delivery of the newly launched SQA Complete Childminding Learning Pathway Work Based Award.
- Design training materials and lead a team of trainers to deliver new and existing professional learning opportunities.
- Manage SCMA’s SQA assessing and verification processes.
- Liaise with external organisations including Local Authorities, SQA, Colleges and Open University.
You will have proven ability to prioritise work, organise information and forward plan. Enthusiasm, self-motivation, good communication and excellent organisational skills are required.
The post is full time, 36 hours per week and will be based at our Head Office in Stirling. Starting Salary: SJC AP5 Pt 31-34 £27,573 - £30,032 and we operate a contributory pension scheme which you will be auto-enrolled into (subject to the conditions of the scheme).
