SCMA is inviting registered childminders across Scotland to take part in our artwork competition ‘Summer Fun With My Childminder’!
We want to showcase the fantastic creativity, warmth and community spirit at the heart of childminding while inspiring more people to become childminders. This summer, we’re inviting childminders and their mindees to get creative by submitting drawings or paintings that celebrate the fun, friendships, learning and adventures that come with childminding.
Children could draw:
- summer fun outdoors
- playing and reading
- learning together
- friendships
- or even a picture of their childminder!
The only must-have is that every picture clearly includes the phrase “Become a Childminder” and be drawn on A3 or A4 paper.
We know wee ones may need help, please feel free to provide support with the writing part and we’d love to see ‘work in progress’ entries where children of all ages are helping to make a picture together showing children learning and playing together is one of the fantastic benefits of childminding!
What’s the prize?
Selected artwork will have the chance to feature in SCMA’s national digital recruitment advertising campaign, helping to inspire more people to become childminders across Scotland. Entries may also be showcased across SCMA social media channels, in Childminding News, and in our Autumn Childminding Magazine.
