The Year of Young People Team within Scottish Government has been named as finalists for Apolitical’s Team of the Year for 2018. After receiving hundreds of nominations, there are 20 finalists competing for votes, so they would welcome your help.
This year, the Scottish Government Launched its Year of Young People, becoming the world’s first country to dedicate a year to celebrating its youth. Co-creation with children was at the heart of the program: the project team worked alongside these young people and bodies inside and outside of government to organise 42 events across the country.
SCMA also took part in the Year of Young People and created a film to highlight the difference childminders make to the lives of young people.
