The Scottish Government is working with Caerus to develop new solutions to help make childcare providers more accessible to parents and families, as part of their commitment to build a system of school-age childcare in Scotland.
This was highlighted by SCMA in a news item last month, which you can read
HERE.
Childminders are a vital part of the project, and the developers at Caerus are keen to understand more from you as they prepare to launch their new software, which will provide the intelligence needed to truly understand and manage supply and demand of wrap around school age childcare, both now and in the future.
The extension to the software will include a search, find, connect and book tool so families can manage all their childcare needs in one place. In turn this will also provide key insights, market intelligence and management information for service providers.
To ensure they get this right, Caerus is holding a series of co-design workshops to get feedback from parents and providers – and in addition – they would like to hear views from childminders too.
Their next co-design workshop will be held on Thursday 31 March at 6pm. The session would allow childminders to share information on your needs and also the requirements of families that you work with.
We appreciate this is short notice, but if you would like to attend the workshop, please email
