After ten years as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Scottish Childminding Association (SCMA), Maggie Simpson has announced she is to retire in early 2019. The organisation is now seeking to recruit a remarkable individual to take the helm and lead the organisation. If you believe you have the vision, skills, and above all, the personal qualities which this role demands, the organisation would like to hear from you.
SCMA is looking for someone who is passionate about the lives of children; who is keen to support their members play their part in providing a quality childcare experience within a family setting; and who is an experienced leader who can shape the organisation and its people. It is a challenging landscape politically and socially but that can bring opportunity to develop and grow the organisation while navigating the complex world around us.

The vacancy for CEO is currently being advertised nationally with a closing date of 12pm on Friday 16 November 2018.
