A festive gift from SCMA

A festive gift from SCMA
Each year SCMA makes a Christmas donation to charity and this year the SCMA Scottish Executive Board has chosen two charities to receive our festive gift: Breast Cancer Now in Scotland and Chris’s House.

Breast Cancer Now in Scotland
was chosen by our Board Member Christine Ross as they support research and services across the country. As health is a devolved issue in Scotland, decisions about breast cancer are made in Scotland, and Breast Cancer Now champions the needs of people diagnosed with breast cancer across the UK, and also in Scotland.

Chris's House
is a Lanarkshire-based charity that was nominated by SCMA’s Vice-President Pauline McInally. Chris’s House stands for Centre of Help, Response and Intervention Surrounding Suicide, which offers a safe environment where people in crisis can find respite and refuge in Chris’s House and an individually tailored programme of support through their journey.

SCMA is delighted to support the incredible work of both of these charities and the invaluable care and support they provide to people in need, when they need it most.
