The Professional Learning team at SCMA is delighted to announce the addition of three new titles to our suite of bitesize e-Learning from Flick Learning.
Alongside our range of Professional Learning opportunities – which are exclusively tailored and bespoke to childminding in Scotland – SCMA members can also benefit from a wide selection of additional bitesize courses from Flick Learning at no extra cost.
We currently have 32 Flick Learning courses available to SCMA members, including three recent titles, which have just gone live on the Membership Dashboard:
- Nutrition and Fluids in Early Years: This e-Learning course is suitable for anyone working in an early years setting. It covers what nutrients and fluids babies and young children need to thrive, and how to provide healthy balanced meals in your setting. The course requires about 30 minutes to complete.
- Safer Eating in Early Years: This e-Learning course is suitable for anyone working in an early years setting. It will help you to understand what the safer eating requirements for early years are and why they are important. The course requires about 15 minutes to complete.
- Modern Slavery and Trafficking: This e-Learning course is suitable for anyone working in a safeguarding capacity. The course focuses on the subject of modern slavery and trafficking, and the key features. It covers types of trafficking and modern slavery, how to recognise the signs, and how to act on concerns. The course requires about 30 minutes to complete.
Our range of Flick Learning courses are intended to complement our own tailored range of learning materials, will help boost members' learning a little further and contribute towards 12 hours of CPL a year.
Other Flick Learning topics include Food Hygiene (Level 2), Mental Health Awareness and Young People, Online Safety, Time Management, Data Protection and GDPR, and much more - with more than 30 different topics to choose from....
