Latest COVID-19 restrictions - updated 4 January 2021 at 6.15pm
Information and communication has been fragmented following this afternoon’s emergency statement in the Scottish Parliament. While we and others within the sector are awaiting official confirmation, it would appear that the Scottish Government has tweeted this afternoon indicating that there are no changes for childminding.
This information has also been shared on the Scottish Government’s Parent Club website. We are aware that many childminders will need to know tonight if they can still provide childcare for families who were expecting to receive this tomorrow. Given the above, we would suggest that childminders can still receive all families into their settings tomorrow and we will keep you updated with any developments.
