SCMA is recruiting for the post of Marketing and Communications Manager
We're seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager to join the team at SCMA. SCMA is the national voice of childminding in Scotland; a national Third Sector and membership organisation that promotes childminding as a quality childcare service. 

Working on behalf of its 4,000 childminder members, SCMA helps to improve the wellbeing and outcomes for Scotland’s children and aims to influence policy to ensure that it is informed by the experiences of childminding. SCMA provides a wide range of support and professional services for members including training and events.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Marketing and Communications Manager, as we seek to develop our future strategy, increase our influence and strengthen our membership activity. As Marketing and Communications Manager you will:

- Develop the SCMA marketing and communications strategy.
- Oversee and contribute to the delivery of marketing and communications activity.
- Lead and co-ordinate the Marketing and Communication Team.
- Contribute to the delivery of the SCMA Annual Conference and other events
- Contribute to the development of an organisational-wide membership strategy.

Candidates will be expected to demonstrate their experience across the Marketing and Communications spectrum (ideally including publications, developing or contributing to marketing and communications strategy, forward planning, media relations, campaign development, social media, marketing and events).

Enthusiasm, self-motivation, good communication and excellent organisational skills are also required. 

The post is full time, 36 hours per week and will be based at our Head Office in Stirling. Salary: SJC AP5 – PO1 (£27,573-£33,260) (dependent on experience). We operate a contributory pension scheme which you will be auto-enrolled into (subject to the conditions of the scheme).
