This course is aimed at childminders working with babies and young children (0-3yrs), who wish to gain awareness on the key principles of the framework and how to implement this into practice.

The course is aimed at:

  • Encouraging and promoting reflective practice through the use of the Pre-Birth to Three multimedia resource. 
  • Encouraging the use of the Pre-Birth to Three guidance as a tool for Continuing Professional Learning (CPL).

It highlights practical case studies and makes reference to current research to support improved evidence-based practice. This course is designed from the viewpoint of a childminder on how to use the guidance to develop
childminding practice.
