We're pleased to announce that bookings are now open for the SCMA Annual Conference: Lean on Me, which is taking place at the Stirling Court Hotel, Stirling on Saturday 28 September 2019.
The conference is always a key highlight in our events calendar and this year the theme has been carefully chosen to include topics that we know are important to our members and those working in the Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) sector such as: community, resilience, quality, the importance of strong partnerships, and friendships.
Bookings made before Friday 12 July 2019 are eligible for the Early Bird Discount which means delegates only pay £60 and non-members £120. After this date the delegate rate is £70 for members and £140 for non-members.
Workshops
A range of inspiring half-day workshops have been developed to support the theme of Lean on Me. They are creative, hands-on, and innovative to ensure they are meaningful and memorable. We know that it is in these moments of fun and interaction that the excitement starts, and engagement happens so that lifelong friendships are formed.
All half-day workshops will come with Certificates of Attendance and the conference will be Open Badged. Workshops fill up fast at the SCMA Conference so be sure to book early to reserve your places.
The Market Place
The Market Place is the networking hub at the Conference and there are a range of exhibitors already booked for 2019. So, in addition to exploring childminding issues from highly informed and respected perspectives, delegates are encouraged to meet with fellow professionals at the conference and to visit the Market Place for new resources and ideas.
Free Crèche Services Available
We will be providing a FREE Crèche for children who will be attending the SCMA Annual Conference with members. The Crèche will be held on site and run by a professional childcare company.
It will be closed during lunchtime so you will need to provide a lunch for each child and pick them up at this time. There is no age restriction for children and places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis by delegates who have completed their registration to attend the conference.
